As someone just starting out in a web business, the terrain has proven pretty convoluted and confusing. I had used other domain registrars before Name.com, and I really don't have anything particularly "negative" to say about those other registrars. I can say, however, Name.com for me has proven by far the EASIEST TO USE(!) and equally affordable as others I've tried. Most importantly, their CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SIMPLY TOP-NOTCH! Whenever I've needed technical help on any issue, I received timely response by email & spot-on service by phone. Probably the cheapest domain registrar and you get free whois protection as well [Meaning unwanted persons can't lookup your name and address using whois]. No problems with them so far. You don't need a credit card to buy domains through them either. Read more

Is a logic result, i get great prices but now they dont respond my emails. At the beginning they answer my emails after 24 hours, then after 3 days, now i dont have any answer. I have some domains that I was transferring to Name Com and I need a lot of answers but it seems that I'm alone. I found that Name Com and Name Net are Domainsite.com, so i'll continue researching over internet about this provider. So you can save money with them, but at your risk... Collapse
