I have had excellent customer service with Enom and I am not sure where some of the negative feedback is coming from. They were prompt in dealing with my questions, When I chose to call them (ok ... it's not toll-free but it is a USA number). The tech person was courteous, helpful and best of all .... spoke crystal clear english! Their website is easy to navigate and it is well organized. Even a novice should have no trouble finding their way around. Their prices are competitive ... not dirt cheap which is actually a "red flag" for me. They offer multiple ways to contact them and they hide nothing as far as location and contact info. I have moved my other domains to Enom because of their great customer service. As far as still getting billings from them, this is pretty common in the industry ... dotser does the same thing. I would caution people to avoid OnlineNic.com as they have allowed a domain that I am transferring to EnomCentral.com to be down for over 10 days and it is still not up at the time of this writing. I will admit that they are polite with their "please be patient" but that doesn't hold much water when I have a customer who's site has been down for nearly 2 weeks! Grrrrr!!! Bottom line .... Enom is a great Registrar and I have no issues with them at all. Collapse

I came to Enom through the RegisterFly debacle. I have had zero problems with Enom. While not an expert, I have owned personal and small business domains for 10 years, so I am familiar with the process. Their site is not too difficult to learn, and once you understand their way, it's easy to navigate and do what you want to do. When I signed up and needed some things explained, I had a good phone experience. I can't complain. However, reading reviews here makes me think that they are friendly towards resellers, and not so much to individual owners. I may consolidate my domains (I have other domains with another registrar) and move away to someone else. Collapse

Really hated this host/registrar
Granted this is just my opinion, based on my experience, and I'm brand new to having a website, but I found this registrar/host very frustrating. First, I had trouble even signing up. It took me about an hour and a half just to get my account signed up with this company. Their site is NOT user friendly for non-techies or newbies. At least, it wasn't for me. Once inside, there was very little help that I could find to explain things. I emailed the company twice with questions and they never responded to me either time. Finally, out of frustration, I decided to cancel my account. I spent more than two hours trying to figure out how to do that. I read the fine print, which told me to go to the services interface to cancel, but the only thing labeled services showed me the services they had to offer. It turned out I had to go to the domains button, then to 'my domains, and then to general services. This is very confusing to a new comer like myself. This company might be ok for someone who is a designer or programmer and knows what they are doing, but I wouldn't recommend it for someone just starting out and in need of a domain or hosting. I found a host that offers wonderful 24/7 support and a forum which has been invaluable to me. I would highly recommend that someone new to the hosting/domain experience look for something similar and avoid enom. One last thing... it cost me about $70.00 to sign up for the spotlight package at enom. Don't be fooled by the cheap price. They will either make you pay for the year up front or they will raise the price you'll pay monthly. Also, their domain names are pricey compared to other companies I've seen. Collapse

We have been very happy as clients of Bulkregister for several years, currently with 45 domains registered. Bulkregister has now been sold to Enom.com. Enom claimed they would honor all deals from Bulkregister, yet they have raised our price per domain and will no longer allow us to use their API to provide real time domain registration to our clients. They NOW state that we must buy an account with Enom, even though we have had an account in good standing with Bulkregister for years. The story changes every time I contact Enom and I am filing a complaint with ICANN. Do not use Enom nor Bulkregister! Collapse

Enom monopolizes and quality slides downhill
Dissatisfied with the services of cut-rate domain name services, I joined BulkRegister at $50 membership for their premium service, only to see them swallowed up by Enom. Enom's service is so bad - when a piece of their function goes down, their support site also goes down. There is some welcome simplicity to their layout, but also their service is just not ready to be put into active commerce yet. I just hope that ICANN will take its responsibilities seriously and require an improvement in service or else terminate Enom's license. Collapse
